According to Lionel, transparency is an important element to take into account when it comes to time and attendance management. He thinks it’s great that the Punchclock is available as a mobile application and can be used on cell phones or tablets. It can also be accessed online via a web browser.
Taking pictures and being able to clock in and out via a personal pin code is also a real plus.
All clockings are accurately recorded and are accessible to all employees and the employer. This allows employees to check their hours and ensure they are properly compensated, while the employer can track each employee’s hours and manage time off and recovery requests in real time.
In addition, the Shyfter clockings system allows employers to set clocking-rules and track overtime hours worked. This helps ensure that hours worked are properly recorded and employees are compensated accordingly.
Daily checks via timesheets & reports
Every morning, the various managers check the previous day’s timesheets and thus closely monitor the activity and staff costs.
In particular, they check that the planned hours correspond to the hours actually worked hours.
If this is not the case, they ask why and make the necessary changes.
All timesheets are then locked and can be easily sent to the payroll manager at the end of the month. A real time saver.
